The Scientificity of Textbook and Its Realization

Abstract:

Among all the attributes of textbooks,scientificity is an attribute that is assumed to exist but is easily ignored. The scientificity of textbooks not only refers to the integrity of the key content of the subject and the suitability for students’ experience, but also includes the openness of encouraging inquiry, the correspondence of graphic and text collocation, and the relevance of interdisciplinary knowledge. Strengthening the scientific construction of textbooks should be based on curriculum editing standards, including selecting and refining teaching content, refining and improving textbook language, and establishing the connection between student experience and textbook knowledge. The scientific nature of textbooks is constantly evolving, and the scientific exploration of textbooks should focus on the present and the future, take social needs and student development as the premise, and serve the high-quality development of basic education.
