Abstract:

Pedagogical imitation is a teaching form in which teachers systematically imitate the classroom teaching activities of their favorite famous teachers and reproduce their essence in their classrooms. It takes the teaching records (video or video) of famous teachers’ classroom teaching as the copied “standard lessons”, and implements teaching practice and research through the steps of selection, reading, copying, imitating, thinking, etc., with four characters of admiration, standard lessons, systematization, and reconstruction. Modern information technology provides a technical basis for pedagogical imitation, and the theory of dynamic stereotypes, demonstration learning theory, introspective thinking theory and teacher education wisdom theory provide a theoretical basis. The implementation of pedagogical imitation requires the support of schools, the coordination of teaching and research groups, and the active participation of teachers. Pedagogical imitation provides specific standards and reflection tools for teachers’ teaching professional training, which helps teachers to form teaching styles and promotes the rapid growth of teachers’ professions. It is also an effective way for schools to innovate teaching and research methods and improve the quality of education.
