Abstract:

In 2023,on the occasion of the 39th Teachers’Day,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the unique educator spirit of Chinese educators processes ideals and beliefs of a great self in mind and serving the country sincerely,moral sentiments of words and deeds that can serve as a role for scholars and a model for the world,the wisdom of educating people by enlightening the mind and nourishing the heart,and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude,the diligent attitude of studying hard and faithfully practicing theoretical creeds,and seeking truth and innovation,benevolent hearts that love teaching and students,and is willing to contribute,and pursuit of greatness of keeping the world in mind and using reasonable methods to influence others. The unique educator spirit of Chinese educators not only has distinctive Chinese characteristics,but also contains the immortal soul of the spirit of educators at home and abroad in ancient and modern times. Promoting the modernization of Chinese-style education must be based on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on the educator’s spirit,comprehensively and deeply understanding the immortal soul and characteristics of the times,and striving to form and promote the educator’s spirit of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
