The Connotation, Characteristics and Educational Countermeasures of College Students’ Self-Evaluation

Abstract:

Self-evaluation is the power source to stimulate the enthusiasm, initiative and autonomy of college students, and plays an irreplaceable role in college students’ self-education. College students’ self-evaluation activities and the development of self-evaluation ability is a complex process. College students’ self-evaluation has the characteristics of initiative and blindness of evaluation power, comprehensiveness and contradiction of evaluation content, subjectivity and fuzziness of evaluation standard, accuracy and falsity of evaluation results, and development and dependence of evaluation ability. Based on the in-depth analysis of the characteristics of college students’ self-evaluation, this paper puts forward some educational measures to promote the development of college students’ self-evaluation ability from the aspects of respecting the dominant, cultivating the basic, and creating a good environment.
