The Impact of Sense of Belonging to Learning Engagement of College Students Majoring in Normal Education —Analysis of Mediating Effect Based on Professional Commitment

Abstract:

Exploring the mechanism of the school’s sense of belonging on the learning investment of normal college students will help improve the degree of professional preparation of college students majoring in normal education.In the survey data of 310 of college students majoring in normal education, this study endeavors to explore the impact of sense of belonging to learning engagement with the perspective of professional commitment as mediation effect. In view of this, the school should pay attention to helping college students majoring in normal education understand the characteristics of the major and the value of future work, to give students more opportunities for independent choice and play space in terms of courses, and to build a practical teaching system that combines short-term and long-term internships. Through these management measures, the sense of belonging and professional commitment, as well as the learning investment level of college students majoring in normal education will all be improved.
