The Internal Logic and Development Path of Subject Moral Education

Abstract:

Subject moral education is a kind of moral and quality with subject characteristics that students gradually internalize through self-perception or under the guidance of teachers. It is a part of moral education that can be achieved in subject education.It needs teachers to design consciously in teaching, but not deliberately. The demands of subject moral education can be summed up in three aspects: positive and realistic life, hard-working personality and ideal feelings of national mission. However, there are still some practical difficulties in the effective practice of subject moral education, mainly including the generally unrecognized value of subject moral education and the underdeveloped subject moral education literacy of teachers. Therefore, we can start from three ways to better achieve the educational goal in the subject teaching,including optimizing the subject curriculum evaluation and highlighting the value of subject moral education; improving the teacher education mechanism and enhancing teachers’ subject moral education literacy; integrating classroom teaching with extracurricular activities which are both based on subject knowledge.
