The Internal Logic, Unhealthy Factors and Improvement Paths for School Moral Education to Obtain Family Education Support

Abstract:

Family education is the logical starting point for children’s moral growth and school moral education, and it is a deep-level social factor that restricts the effectiveness of school moral education.Thecomplexity and difficulty of school moral education have its deep roots in family education. In contemporary China during the social transition period, bad family structure and bad parenting methods are the most obvious objective obstacles and subjective deviations that affect school moral education to obtain family education support. These subjective and objective constraints have further increased the difficulty of school moral education.School moral education should adopt measures such as accurately ascertaining children’s true family moral performance, carrying out effective parent education, making up for the lack of family moral education, and constructing a home-school-society co-education mechanism of consultation and mutual assistance, so as to seek moral reasons, moral education resources and motivation support from family education outside the school system.
