Integration and Differentiation: Review and Prospect of the 70 Years Construction of Ordinary Senior High School Teaching Material System

Abstract:

The teaching material system constructs the basic structure of teaching material construction and determines its path of historical changes. Generally speaking, the teaching material system of senior high school in China has experienced three stages, which are national formulation, customization and authorization, and the combination of both. At present, there are some problems in the construction of teaching material system in senior high school, such as the imbalance of centralization and decentralization, the lack of linkage of teaching material management system, the lack of independence and professionalism, the lack of standardization of teaching material management, the lack of coordination between plan and market, and the lack of longterm management mechanism of teaching material. Therefore, in order to break the bottleneck of the development of the teaching material system in ordinary high schools in the new era,we must combine ideological guidance with system innovation and fully implement Xi Jinping’s new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics;combine the overall planning with the hierarchical management and form a multi linkage teaching material management system;combine unified leadership with classification construction and establish a complete system of teaching materials and regulations; and also combine the plan means with the market means and meanwhile improve the efficient and smooth teaching material management mechanism. Finally, we will comprehensively improve the quality of teaching material management in senior high schools, and promote the overall textbook system construction to a new level.
