Abstract:

The school safety policy is the fundamental basis for carrying out school safety work in accordance with the law. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, China’s school security policy has experienced three stages, which are start-up, development and regulation. The overall value orientation has shifted from students’current safety to their life-long security, the policy system has moved from fragmentation to integration, and the action system has evolved from unipolar management to multiple governance. Looking into the future, to improve the quality of the school’s safety policy should focus on the following aspects: focusing on student safety literacy, establishing policy value orientation, optimizing policy layout, improving school safety policy system,paying attention to collaborative interaction and ensuring the effective operation of school safety policy.
