What on Earth can Online Teaching Bring Us ——Based on the Historical Investigation of Teaching Model Reform

Abstract:

As a teaching model, online teaching should be investigated in historical process. Throughout the four stages of the teaching model since the twentieth century, we can find that the fundamental motivation for its reform lies in solving the problems in the teaching practice. online teaching is generated in response to the inherent needs of the times and the development of teaching. It has advantages in its nature: solving the contradiction between the differences of students and the unity of class teaching, meeting personalized and independent learning, promoting educational equity, improving classroom efficiency, and realizing timely and effective feedback. Therefore, although online teaching has become a forced choice at present, but it is also an opportunity for the reform of China ’s teaching model. Online teaching should be used to promote the reform of China’s teaching model, by building a “learner-centric”, soft and flexible, a new type teaching model with integrated teaching platform.
