Abstract:

Entering a new journey in the history of building a powerful nation of education, the development of universities will inevitably form a new portrait. University portraits use modern information technology to grasp the development trend of universities, assist universities enhance their internal governance capabilities, build systematic thinking, and practice social values. The university portraits take the universities as the research objects, and use system theory and symbiosis theory as the theoretical methods to construct an application system of university portrait, providing a theoretical and applied foundation for a strong country in education.Starting from the three elements of value, conditions, and output, university portraits scientifically and systematically portray the overall picture of the core competitiveness of universities, based on principles of universality, crucial, objectivity, and accessibility.
