Abstract:

Developing an educational evaluation system with Chinese characteristics is a crucial objective of China’s educational evaluation reform in the new era. PISA is one of the most representative, complete and far-reaching international education assessment projects in the world. Analyzing its progress in value orientation, assessment content, assessment methods and application of results will help develop and improve China’s education evaluation system. The study found that PISA not only focuses on the economic value of assessment, but also takes into account the humanistic value and focuses on the development of students’ comprehensive literacy. In terms of subject assessment, it is guided by the development of students’ literacy, and the background questionnaire assessment indicators comprehensively cover the factors that affect students’ development. In terms of assessment methods, the degree of computerization is deepened, and the application of adaptive technology promotes the realization of personalized assessment. In terms of assessment data, the types of public data increase, and the application scenarios of assessment results become more diversified. Based on this, my country should always adhere to the educational value orientation, based on the needs of the times and the actual situation of the country, appropriately expand the assessment content, use new technologies to optimize the assessment methods, and guide multiple subjects to participate in the diversified application of assessment results, so as to accelerate the improvement of China’s basic education quality monitoring and assessment system.
