The Value Implication and Construction Principles of High-Quality Development of Digital Textbooks

Abstract:

As an important part of the strategic action of education digitization,the construction of digital textbooks has become an important support to open up a new situation of high-quality teaching materials system with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Digital textbooks have the expected attributes of technological innovation, deep interactivity, and iterative development. The value orientation of digital textbooks is to strengthen the function of soul-building and educating people, to build a new form of knowledge resources, to create a “learning-oriented” teaching ecology, and to build a solid foundation for cultivating innovative talents. At present,the high-quality development of digital textbooks is facing a series of difficulties and challenges in ideological and political education,inter-disciplinary knowledge integration,synchronized integration construction,technological development cognition,and teaching material governance structure. This requires deepening ideological and political education, strengthening the disciplinary integration of content, promoting the integrated development of “learning, teaching, and research”, balancing technical rationality with value rationality, improving the governance structure of textbooks,so as to achieve the high-quality development of digital textbooks.
