The Cultural Empowerment and Practice of the Education of Values for Rural Children: Based on the Background of Home-School-Community Collaborative Education

Abstract:

Home-school-community collaborative education mode is a concrete practice that implements General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement on family education and is an effective way to strengthen values education for children in rural areas. The logic of rural children’s value education is to cultivate the value judgment of rural children’s legitimacy, cultivate the value rationality of rural children’s subjectivity,and shape the normative behavior consciousness of rural children. The educational field of family-school-community integration can play an important role in cultural empowerment and enhance rural children’s sense of self-efficacy and cultural identity. Family culture endows rural children with initial emotional strength and self-awareness,school culture promotes the positive cultivation of rural children’s patriotic awareness and ideology and morality, and rural culture is the spiritual link to deepen rural children’s local complex and value recognition. Based on the home-school-community collaborative education mode,value education for rural children should adhere to the collaborative education orientation of enhancing value cognition,implement a collaborative education model that integrates sensibility and rationality,build an organic interactive collaborative education ecosystem,and strengthen the deep coupling of subjective emotional cognition and value rationality,so as to promote the generation of children’s value beliefs in the countryside.
