Abstract:

China’s higher education has made great strides into the popularization stage, and the focus of development will shift from scale expansion to connotation construction, and the proposition of high-quality development of higher education has emerged as the times require. The fundamental goal of high-quality development of higher education is to meet the country’s urgent needs for a large number of innovative and entrepreneurial talents in the era of innovation-driven development. Therefore, effectively promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education has become a strategic choice for the high-quality development of higher education. Carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education is fundamental to stimulate the innovation potential of college students. Then, respecting the uniqueness of individuality and implementing personalized education has become the logical starting point for the high-quality development of higher education. To this end, it is necessary to create a relaxed environment conducive to individual expression, promote the classroom teaching revolution, improve the teacher evaluation mechanism, promote teachers to devote themselves to teaching, and make innovation and entrepreneurship education the cornerstone of the high-quality development of higher education in the era of popularization.
