Abstract:

To explore the influence of family socioeconomic status on children’s generalized anxiety and impulsive-hyperactive behavior, as well as the mediating mechanism of family environment and children’s psychological resilience, this study surveyed 64 475 parents of 3 to 6-year-old children across the country. The research results show that: family environment is an important external protective factor for children’s psychological development, and family socioeconomic status will ultimately affect children’s generalized anxiety and impulsive-hyperactive behavior through family environment and children’s psychological resilience. Based on the mechanism of family economic status on young children’s emotions and behavior, the following suggestions are put forward:First, continuing to optimize the home environment of children in rural areas;second, paying attention to and promoting the development of children’s psychological resilience.

Key words: family socioeconomic status, home environment, resilience, generalized anxiety, impulsive-hyperactive behavior
