Abstract:

Within the context of in-depth promotion of globalization, the internationalization of higher education has become a significant means to enhance comprehensive national power, promote economic recovery, and extend cultural exchanges. After entering the 21st century, Japan has adopted strategies such as building an international curriculum system, improving the service system for studying abroad, improving the guarantee mechanism through multiple channels, and promoting the cultivation and flow of multilateral talents, in order to attract foreign top talents to ensure a dominant position in scientific and technological innovation, gain economic benefits and increase finance, export values to expand international influence, and form a higher education cooperation network. In the post-epidemic era, internationalization will not only bring risks to the development of higher education, but also contain unlimited opportunities. China should learn from Japanese beneficial experiences based on our own national conditions, improve the service level of and education level of overseas students, and expand the two-way flow of overseas students. In the process of promoting the internationalization of Chinese higher education, cultural self-confidence should also be strengthened, and at the same time, we should pay attention to the changes of times and develop local internationalization in a timely manner.
