Abstract:

With the continuous clarification of vocational education, the recognition of non-diploma educational achievements in higher vocational colleges under the background of enrollment expansion has become a major challenge and an urgent problem to be solved in the education and teaching management of higher vocational colleges. The recognition of non-diploma education achievements in higher vocational colleges has rich contemporary implications, and it is an important path for building a lifelong education system, a basic means for surviving social practice experience, and an objective need to broaden the growth channels of skilled talents. At present, the implementation of non-diploma education achievement recognition in China’s higher vocational colleges faces practical challenges, such as low adaptability of the recognition concept, single recognition subject, ambiguous recognition process, poor flexibility of recognition methods, and weak mobility of recognition results. Based on this, higher vocational colleges should establish a scientific accreditation concept to promote the growth of students, should build a sound legal system to clearly identify the rights and responsibilities of the subject, should build a national qualification framework system to clarify the recognition standards, should establish special organizations to improve the technical level of accreditation, and should develop supporting systems to support the transfer of learning outcomes.
