On Teachers Conscience:Essential Connotation,Formation Logic,and Development Path

Abstract:

Teachers’conscience is concerned with the moral choice of “doing something and not doing something”and the value judgment of“right and wrong”in educational activities. Teachers’conscience is the manifestation of the unity of the explicitness of selfless altruistic behavior and the internalization of professional moral obligations. It is embodied in the comprehensive ability of intuition and rational judgment,reflection and evaluation. It not only obeys the ethical requirements of educational justice,but also has an educational beauty vision. The formation logic of teachers’ conscience includes:based on people’s conscience;due to the change of identity;and finally educational belief. As a kind of awareness of professional ethics,teachers’conscience is the product of the combination of innate self-sufficiency and acquired growth,and it is a value practice of moral behavior of teachers in the process of imparting knowledge. Based on the formation logic of teachers’conscience,the development of teachers’conscience can be carried out from the aspects of teachers’personal kindness, moral self-discipline and belief construction.
