Abstract:
The “Double Reduction” policy helps primary and secondary school students to free themselves from the heavy workload of homework and off-campus training, and gain more opportunities to meet off-campus resources such as museums. At present, there is still a huge gap between the educational supply of museums and “improving the level of after-school services in schools and meeting the diverse needs of students”. In order to unleash the educational potential of museums in science popularization, cultural dissemination, and promotion of lifelong learning, it is necessary to change the audience view and make museum education popularized with learners as the center; to create a museum curriculum that extends to the curriculum system of primary and secondary schools, and to actively integrate into school after-school services; support family education, and build a “home-school-museum” collaborative space.
Key words: museum education, learner integration, curriculum integration, home-school-museum integration
