Abstract:

In teaching, training is commonly stigmatized.People usually believed that training is mechanical and rigid and should not be part of teaching. However, “rigid”, “mechanic” for training are more like negative rhetoric expressions for training rather than a correct description of strict argument. In fact, training could help students better understand and consolidate knowledge, and promote knowledge transfer and application. Therefore, the mastery of knowledge is a process in which understanding and training integrate with each other. Effective training is a process of the wise use of knowledge, which requires moderate training on one hand, and the forms and ways of training need to be ingenious, which can arouse students’ enthusiasm for rational participation on the other hand.

Key words: pedagogic epistemology, training, knowledge
