The Connotation, Important Values and Training Strategies of Students’ Positive Mental Attitude

Abstract:

The positive mental attitude of students is the emotional and values basis of making positive judgment on things as well as the reflection and adjustment basis of making negative judgment. It is both the yearning for beauty and loftiness and the positive reflection of dialectical understanding of contradictions. The improvement of positive mental attitude will help students to build strong will and noble personality, to cope with the new challenges and new problems of the times, to improve their psychological health level, and to resist the negative influence of bad social atmosphere. Educators should be based on the actual needs of our country, Follow the training principle of integrating the ancient and modern, and connecting the China and the west. Through the impartment of positive moral concepts, the explanation of positive historical allusions, the inheritance of the positive cultural essence, the construction of the positive theory, the cultivation of the positive practical activity and so on, the continuous generation and improving of the positive mental attitude of students will be guided. Educators should be based on the actual needs of our country, in line with the training guidelines of integrating ancient and modern, integrating Chinese and Western, and guide the continuous generation and improvement of students’ positive attitude through five aspects, including the teaching of positive moral concepts, the explanation of positive historical allusions, the inheritance of positive cultural essence, the construction of positive theoretical ideas, and the cultivation of active practical activities.
