Abstract:

It is an important task for senior high schools to strengthen the guidance of students’ development under the background of the new college entrance examination reform. However, in practice, there are existing problems including: some schools have superficial understanding of student development guidance, and equate “development” guidance with “selective examination” guidance; the specific implementation process is fragmented and lacks systematic thinking; the resource support for students’ development guidance is insufficient and the thinking is too closed. Therefore, senior high schools should clarify the relationship between students’ development guidance and students’ development, as well as the college entrance examination reform and schools’ development; should further clarify its value orientation; should base itself on the development needs of its students, and carry out overall planning, continuous advancement and dynamic adjustment of student development guidance; should build a variety of platforms to strengthen the publicity and training of teachers, promote mutual exchanges, and improve teachers’ awareness and ability of “guidance”; and should broaden their thinking, optimize integration, build an open resource network, and provide resource guarantees for the promotion of student development guidance.
