Abstract:

The community support of left-behind children is an important part of social support system. How to promote the school adaptation of left-behind children through community support is of great value. Based on the literature review, hypotheses about the relationship between left-behind children’s school adaptation and community support can be proposed, and a questionnaire was designed and carried out to explore the effect of community support on school adaptation to revise the relationship hypothesis. It is found that: behavior adjustment is the mediator of relationship adjustment acting on learning adjustment; relationship adjustment is the mediator of community support acting on behavior adjustment; psychological adjustment is the mediator of community support acting on relationship adjustment. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that three aspects should be paid attention to in the choice of community support path for school adaptation of left-behind children, including taking relationship building as priority and creating a community atmosphere which is conducive to rural education, focusing on psychological support and building community psychological counseling and care mechanism, and creating a learning community link system with behavior guidance as a supplement.
