A Study on the Influencing Factors of Students’ Academic Aspirations in the “Top-Tier Talent Cultivation Program”—From the Perspective of the Social Ecosystem Theory

摘要:

学术志趣是学生学术理想抱负、学术兴趣志向和学术坚持的重要体现,它是拔尖创新人才必备的素质。本研究通过对20名“拔尖计划”本科生进行访谈,获取其原始信息作为文本资料,基于社会生态系统理论视角,从微系统、中系统、外系统、宏系统四个层面探究影响“拔尖计划”本科生学术志趣的先天特质、后天努力、他人帮助和学校环境四重因素,并在此基础上提出培养学生稳定个性特质和综合能力素养、建设优质学校资源环境和家庭支持系统、强化各方资源力量整合和外部参与赋能、构建高效制度激励体系和文化支持生态的对策建议。

Abstract:

Academic aspirations are an important manifestation of students’ academic ideals, interests, ambitions, and commitment to sustained academic engagement, and they constitute an essential quality for top-tier innovative talents. This study conducted in-depth interviews with 20 undergraduate students enrolled in the “Top-Tier Talent Cultivation Program” and collected their original interview records as textual data. Drawing on the perspective of Social Ecosystem Theory, the study investigated the influencing factors of these students’ academic aspirations across four ecological levels, which are microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, and macrosystem, focusing on four dimensions: innate traits, personal effort, support from others, and the institutional environment. On this basis, the study proposed four suggestions, including fostering students’ stable personality traits and comprehensive competencies, developing high-quality institutional and family support environments, strengthening the integration of multi-party resources and external participation, and building an effective system of institutional incentives and cultural support.
