Abstract:

In order to explore the influencing factors of labor education and improve the effectiveness of labor education, this study started from the perspective of college students, selected four dimensions of independent variables, namely “school”,“teacher”,“individual” and “family”,and two dimensions of dependent variables, namely “cognition” and “meaning”,and conducted a questionnaire survey on 1,105 college students in Jiangsu Province. The results show that the current school curriculum, teacher teaching content, and family support for labor education participation have all had a significant negative impact on the educational effectiveness of labor education. Optimizing teaching content, adjusting teaching structures, and shifting supportive attitudes, can enhance students’intrinsic motivation to participate in labor education, foster a collaborative education framework among schools, teachers, and families, help students cultivate labor values, and enhance the effectiveness of labor education. Comparing the weights of various factors can improve the implementation strategy of labor education in Colleges and universities, and provide empirical reference for the development of labor education in Colleges and universities.
