Abstract:

Educational productivity is closely linked to technological development; from the era of hunting to the era of intelligence, the role of education in productive forces has shifted from being marginal to becoming a decisive factor. The development of educational productivity benefits from the strengthening of educational functions, namely individual and social functions. There is an essential coupling relationship among technology, education, and production. The mechanism by which artificial intelligence empowers educational productivity lies in its ability to enhance both the individual and social functions of education. From the perspective of strengthening the individual function of education, artificial intelligence can transform the educational mediation system to optimize talent cultivation models and provide high-quality educational resources to improve the effectiveness of education in nurturing talent. From the perspective of improving the social function of education, artificial intelligence can guide social values to strengthen the production capacity of education services, and promote educational equity to enhance social production vitality. Based on the analysis of the mechanisms through which artificial intelligence empowers educational productivity, the pathways for such empowerment can be explored in the following aspects:transforming the educational mediation system to cultivate the competencies required in the era of intelligence;developing high-quality educational resources to improve the quality of talent cultivation;guiding societal values to consolidate social productive forces;and promoting educational equity to support a balanced labor force structure.
