The Historical Accumulation, Connotation Presentation. and Incentive Effect of Educator Spirit

Abstract:

The educator spirit is the continuation and innovation of the Chinese spiritual civilization pedigree. Through tracing the origin of ancient traditional teacher culture,continuing to inherit the belief of modern intellectuals in saving the country and building a strong country,and inheriting the mission of contemporary “great teachers” to establish morality and cultivate people,the educator spirit accurately depicts the personality portrait and spiritual style of excellent teachers in the new era in the aspects of moral cultivation,integrity and innovation,educating people to strengthen the country, and benefiting the world. The profound connotation contained in the spirit of educators provides a solid value adherence and spiritual foundation for promoting China from an educational power to an educational power. Through the accurate grasp of the value and connotation of the spirit of educators, it is helpful to give full play to the incentive effect of the spirit of educators,so as to anchor the spiritual coordinates for the creation of high-quality teachers,open the chapter of the times for the digital innovation of education,create a fashion of respecting teachers for the construction of a modern educational power,boost cultural self-confidence for the high-level opening up of education,and make the spirit of educators become the endogenous driving force and belief coordinates of China’s education.
