Schools Scientific Performance, Influencing Factors and Enlightenment from the Four Provinces of China ——Based on PISA2015 Data on the Four Provinces of China

Abstract:

A total of 268 schools from the four provinces of China (Beijing, Shanghai, guangdong and jiangsu) were selected to participate in PISA2015 test. They were divided into four grades according to their average performance in science. Combining with PISA2015 school questionnaire data to carry out comprehensive analysis, the paper reveals the influence of school allocation of resources, school management and teaching organization, the campus environment and learning climate, etc factors on the school science performance, and tries to find out school’s success characteristics and the reasons, and the deficiency of underperforming schools, so as to learn from each other and enlightenment. Finally, in order to improve the education teaching in schools, promote the progress of school governance, and improve the quality of education and school performance, relevant policy recommendations were put forward.
