Classroom Research: A Breakthrough for the Dilemma of the Relationship Between Educational Theory and Practice

Abstract:

As the intermediate level of educational research, classroom research is the best link to integrate educational theory and practice. The multiple values of classroom research lie in realizing the innovation of educational theory, accelerating the reform of educational practice, and the professional development of educational researchers. The “separation” problem of theory and practice can be effectively resolved, by advocating the concept of school-based teaching and research, as well as through professional class teaching attendance and evaluation which mainly include autonomous reflection of teachers, peer coaching, and professional leading.
