The Connotation, Constituent Elements and Development Path of Excellent Teachers' Key Competencies

Abstract:

The key competencies of excellent teachers are the essential character and key ability that excellent teachers have when they effectively deal with real and complex situations in educational and teaching practice activities. Starting from the essential connotation of the key competencies of excellent teachers, this paper constructs the elements and structural system of the key competencies of excellent teachers based on the overall concept of system theory, expounds professional ethics competencies, discipline professional competencies, educational teaching competencies, information diagnostic competencies and learning reflective competencies of excellent teachers from the perspectives of value, practice, and motivation. Based on this, it puts forward the path of innovating the teacher education model, creating an environment for teacher growth, strengthening practice coordination mechanism, and attaching importance to post-employment ability training, to provide references for the development of excellent teachers' key competencies and the promotion of education reform.
