A Prerequisite Thought on the Integrated Construction of Subject Moral Education and Curriculum Ideological and Political Education

Abstract:

Conceptually analyzing and clarifying the connotation and essence of subject moral education and curriculum ideological and political education, and correctly understanding and grasping the relationship between the two are not only the conceptual premise and internal requirements for promoting the integrated construction of ideological and political courses in universities, middle schools and primary schools, but also the inevitable demand for improving the overall effectiveness of the work of establishing morality and cultivating people in schools in the new era. The intrinsic connection between the two is mainly reflected in the congruence of the ultimate goal,the connectivity of the theoretical basis,and the commonality of the educational advantages. The difference between the two is concentrated in the dimensions of subject affiliation, applicable stage of study, content emphasis, and political requirements. Under the new situation of building a joint education mechanism, the vertical connection and integrated construction of subject moral education and curriculum ideological and political education need to follow the basic principles of unity of integrity and hierarchy, unity of universality and particularity, and unity of dominance and repetitiveness.
