Abstract:

Labor courses are a crucial means for achieving the goals of labor education and a key educational means to achieve the all-round development of students in morality, intellect, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. However, due to an unclear understanding of the educational functions of labor courses, insufficient use of labor course-related resources, and inadequate grasp of the evaluative mechanisms of these courses, the current labor courses generally face the reality of biased and narrow course content settings, fragmented and isolated implementation spaces, and static, singular evaluation methods. To eliminate the “labor” dilemma in labor courses, it is essential to align with educational objectives and student experiences, enhancing the recognition of the value of labor content;to integrate existing resources and operational spaces to expand the scope of labor course implementation;and to establish a dynamic and diverse comprehensive evaluation mechanism to improve students' comprehensive labor literacy.
