The Construction and Application of Primary and Secondary School Teachers’Instructional Leadership Evaluation Index System

Abstract:

Teachers’ instructional leadership is undoubtedly the basic ability that teachers should have in leading instructional activities,and teachers’instructional leadership evaluation is the key measure to guide and develop teachers’instructional leadership. In view of this,this study clarified the connotation of teaching leadership of primary and secondary school teachers’instructional leadership through qualitative interviews,and used expert consultation method and analytic hierarchy process to construct an evaluation index system for primary and secondary school teachers’teaching leadership,including 4 first-level indicators (instructional leadership cognitive ability,learning goal planning ability,teaching activity guidance ability,instructional leadership evaluation ability),9 second-level indicators,and 21 third-level indicators. Through practical application,it is found that the level of instructional leadership of primary and secondary school teachers is generally good,but there are significant differences in gender,teaching years,professional title,etc.
