Postgraduates’ Sense of Learning Attainment:the Questionnaire Compilation and Development Characteristics

Abstract:

Postgraduates’ sense of learning attainment is a positive subjective feeling produced by graduate students who enjoy real attainment because their academic life needs are met in the learning process. In order to compile the questionnaire of learning attainment for Chinese graduate students,the connotation and theoretical framework of graduate students’ learning attainment are preliminarily constructed on the basis of literature analysis and semi-structured interviews. After testing and analysis,a postgraduate learning attainment questionnaire with five dimensions of guiding students’ affinity,hope,peer closeness,self-confidence and pleasure is formed,with good reliability and validity. Through the systematic analysis of 3541 questionnaires,it is found that postgraduates’ sense of learning attainment is at the general level. The level of pursuing degree,the category of pursuing degree,the training mode and the category before entering school have a significant impact on the sense of learning attainment of postgraduates. The participation of scientific research projects,the number of scientific research achievements and academic achievements have a significant impact on graduate students’ sense of learning attainment.
