Abstract:

The development of world-leading quality education with Chinese characteristics is one of China’s ten strategic tasks for the modernization of education. Modern education with Chinese characteristics not only has the characteristics of urban education, but also has the characteristics of rural education. It is an education that integrates and promotes urban and rural education, complements each other’s advantages, and realizes modernization together. It does not mean turning urban and rural education into a single school with no difference and no characteristics, nor does it mean to turn rural education and rural education into urbanization standard education. The revitalization and the modernization of rural education should be promoted and realized on the basis of the unique integrated and balanced development of urban and rural education.
