Research on the Influencing Factors of the Teachers’ Intention to Rotate

Abstract:

Respecting the teachers’ intention to rotate has important significance for carrying out teacher rotation policy. This study samples 6220 teachers in primary and middle school intra-county nationwide and explores the present situation and influencing factors of teachers’ intention to rotate from the perspective of demography, economic, family and rotation school. The results show that the compensation for teachers’ rotation opportunity cost can scale teachers’ high intention to rotate up; teachers with single、low title、short working time characteristic having strong intention to rotate; compared with family of origin, family of procreation has stronger influence of the teachers’ intention to rotate; the support and objective condition from rotation school has influence on teachers’ intention to rotate .So as to improve the teachers’ intention to rotate, the coordination mechanism between news public opinion and supervisory department should be established to internalize rotation policy; encouragement and guarantee mechanism should be perfected to strengthen the intention to rotate; the interests of the rotation teachers’ family members should be protected to eliminate the worries of teachers’ rotate.
