Abstract:

The spirit of educators is rooted in and manifested through their outstanding practical purpose, with practice serving as the fundamental field for the generation and existence of their traits. The study utilizes NVivo 12.0 software to conduct a qualitative analysis of the narratives of 88 exemplary educators, and finds that educators shape innovative practical attitudes, public-oriented practical ethics, caring practical emotions, people-centered practical beliefs, dialectical practical wisdom, and transcendent practical pursuits through their practice. Further examination of the formation pathways shows that educators commonly follow the practice pattern of “reflection - transformation - collaboration,” cultivate the practical emotion of “love oneself - love students - love the public,” direct their practice towards “growth-maturity-excellence,” and establish the “soaring high - firmly grounded” practice paradigm. These pathways collectively reveal the deep laws and practical logic behind the transition from educators to great educators.
