Abstract:

The comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization requires rural areas to move towards high-quality development. Local universities, leveraging their unique functions and advantages, serve as an important force in supporting rural construction and development, significantly contributing to the high-quality revitalization of rural areas. However, the premise is that local universities form an effective synergy with other types of subjects in rural revitalization. This study constructed an integrative analysis framework, and conducted field investigations and in-depth interviews on the situation of local universities serving rural revitalization, based on the theory of collaborative governance, and focuses on the four dimensions of subject, goal, interest, and resource. The results show that there are multiple collaborative dilemmas such as poor cooperation among multiple subjects, imbalance in the pursuit of multi-dimensional goals, conflicting demands for multiple interests, and insufficient integration of diverse resources. As a result, it is necessary to build a four-fold collaborative mechanism involving stakeholder coordination, goal alignment, interest reconciliation, and resource integration, to enhance the role of local universities in supporting rural development, which will effectively promote the high-quality revitalization of rural areas based on collaborative symbiosis.
