Analysis of the Practical Dilemma and Countermeasures to Effectively Develop the Ideological and Political Curriculum in Sino-foreign Cooperative Colleges

Abstract:

The particularity of the education and teaching mode of Sino-foreign cooperatively-run schools has led to students being deeply influenced by Western culture and values. Therefore, strengthening students’ ideological and political education presents particularity, complexity and urgency. The construction of ideological and political curriculum is an important way to realize the ideological and political education, and is a powerful guarantee for adhering to the socialist direction of running schools. However,due to the features of curriculum construction mode,teaching content and the mixture of Chinese and foreign teachers in these colleges, it brings many practical dilemmas to the effective development of ideological and political curriculum. The construction of ideological and political curriculum may solve the problem of “color” dilution and degradation in the curriculum of Sino-foreign cooperative colleges,and label it as “Chinese red”. The study puts forward suggestions to ensure the effectiveness of the construction of ideological and political curriculum from the following five aspects:ideological guidance,construction principles,construction priorities, construction keys,and construction difficulties.
