On the Educationist Spirit

摘要:

作为教育学家在长期教育学研究中积累的宝贵精神财富,教育学家精神是一代又一代教育学家崇高精神的凝结,具体包括了教育学家的科学精神、求实精神、创新精神、爱国精神、自觉精神、育人精神、奉献精神、时代精神和合作精神。大力弘扬教育学家精神,不仅有助于实现对教育学传统的“接着讲”、激励教育学研究者追求真理以及促进教育学学科的创新发展,而且有助于推进教育强国建设、深化教育改革与创新。教育学家精神的培育需要厚植家国情怀,践行学科使命担当;传承与创新并举,提升教育学学科地位;践行教育关怀,构建良好的教育学研究生态;推进教育学派建设,彰显中国特色;强化典型示范,发挥榜样引领作用。

Abstract:

As a valuable spiritual asset accumulated through long-term educational research,the educationist spirit represents the crystallization of the noble values upheld by generations of educationalists. It specifically encompasses the scientific spirit,pragmatic spirit,innovative spirit,patriotic spirit,self-awareness,educational commitment,dedication,spirit of the times,and spirit of collaboration. Vigorously promoting the educationist spirit not only helps to sustain and deepen the academic discourse on educational traditions,inspire researchers in the field to pursue truth,and foster innovation in the discipline of education,but also contributes to advancing the building of a leading country in education and deepening educational reform and innovation. The cultivation of the educationist spirit requires a deep-rooted sense of national commitment and a strong sense of disciplinary responsibility;it calls for both inheritance and innovation to elevate the academic standing of education as a discipline;it entails practicing educational care to build a healthy research ecosystem in educational studies;it promotes the development of indigenous educational schools of thought that reflect Chinese characteristics;and it emphasizes exemplary models to harness the guiding power of role models.
