世界一流大学校训文化的属性、类型及价值目标*

摘要:

世界一流大学校训文化,是通过箴言、格言、德目、训诲等语言形式体现其社会需求、文化根脉、育人理念、价值取向和学校愿景的一种精神文化形态。依据其属性与渊源,可将世界一流大学校训文化分为“神谕”(宗教取向)、“求真”(知识与学术取向)、“服务”(社会取向)、“个性化”(创新取向)等四种主流类型,体现出发展性、学术性、公益性以及共同性的价值目标,对建设我国新时代大学校训文化和世界一流大学具有借鉴意义。

Abstract:

As a spiritual and cultural form, the world-class universities' motto culture reflects its social needs, culture root, education philosophy, value orientation and school vision through various language forms such as rumors, maxims, morals, exegesis and doctrine. According to its attributes and origins, the world-class university motto culture can be divided into four types: “God” (religious orientation), “seeking truth” (knowledge and academic orientation), “service” (social orientation), “individualization” (innovation orientation). These four mainstream types reflect the universities' developmental, academic, public welfare and universal value objectives and education concept. It has great implications to the constructions of Chinese university motto culture and world-class universities in the new era.
